When people describe positive mental health, most would include that a person has some purpose in life, that they are hopeful, connected and they possess a sense of peace. Spirituality is a broad term but it describes how and in what a person believes. A person’s spirituality can provide a sense of security, a place or group to be a part of and can provide comfort. Faith-based and Spiritual organizations can be a great resource in wellness, recovery and social support.
