Having a good night’s sleep is an important part of maintaining positive mental health. When a person is dealing with a mental health issue, it can affect the way a person sleeps and can upset a regular schedule. Often medications are prescribed to treat a mental illness and those medications can impact sleep. Too little sleep, too much sleep or not leaving a resting position are all things you can bring up with your doctor or other people who support you.
